You're driving along, finally fixed the ps hose leak, blah blah is working, and then all of a sudden your temp gauge goes through the roof. Then you need to order parts, get the parts, all the while the car is sitting on stands waiting to be driven again, get the parts, fix the car, only to find out you didn't fix the problem. The car was made to be driven, not fixed constantly. That's probably the 2nd biggest thing holding me back from upgrading before stuff breaks. The first obviously being the cost. It felt good to vent, even though the 2 weren't related. Don't sweat it. You'll get it back together, and then you'll make anothe sig worth post :D
